Getting tired of your OEM granny charger on 8A?
This is the perfect low-cost replacement and ideal for all EV drivers.
This charger has a 15A plug attached (that’s with the larger earth pin), if you need to charge from a standard 10A household outlet grab a 15A to 10A adapter and make sure you dial-down the charger to at least 10A or you will trip the breaker on the adapter.

NOTE: Shipped with a domestic style 15A plug, we recommend (where possible) using this charger on a dedicated 15A IP-66 outlet that can accommodate the matching locking screw on matching IP-66 plugs for a more secure and waterproof connection. If you would like this charger to be fitted with a IP66 waterproof plug, please request this in your order notes at checkout and we will fit it at no charge.
To change charging current:
- Ensure wall socket is switched off.
- Connect the 15A plug into wall socket and turn on.
- Press and hold the Gear Icon until the Display changes to sub-menu of 3 options, the first option “Change amperage” will already be selected. Press and hold once more to enter the menu.
- Quickly tap to cycle through the available current choices.
- Press and hold to save the chosen amperage.
- Insert the charging connector into the vehicle’s charge-port.
- The new charging current is remembered between charging sessions.
- Settings Mode will time-out if no changes are detected with 4 seconds.
