Why is unicharger7 your “all-in-one” charging solution?
It will work with the most commonly found power sockets, namely:
- General Power Outlets (single phase GPO’s) found in every home, businesses and home-garages:
10A GPO’s
Deliver current up to 10A, or approximately 2kW of power.
15A GPO’s
These outlets with a larger Earth pin (the vertical slot), and deliver current up to 15A, or approximately 3kW of power.
- Industrial Power Outlets (3-phase) very common in rural areas and are found in workshops, machinery sheds and Council reserves. They are configured for 20A and 32A, and although higher amperage exist (40A & 50A) the 32A plug will fit into these also. Most industrial power outlets are 3-phase, i.e. you will see a large OFF-ON switch above an outlet with 5 large round pins as shown on this photo.

20A Industrial switched sockets (3-phase)
Deliver current up to 20A, or approximately 4kW of power.
Note the flat part on the bottom of the outlet. This ensures only 20A 3-phase plugs will fit.
32A Industrial switched sockets (3-phase)
Deliver current up to 32A, or approximately 7kW of power.
Note the slot (or “keyway”) on the bottom of the outlet. This ensures only 32A 3-phase plugs will fit.
unicharger7 is a designed and built for single phase current so it will still draw single phase power from the 3-phase outlets shown above. If needed, we can fit single phase 20A and 32A plugs to the 20A and 32A adaptor tails to suit your particular application. Make a request in the Order notes at the bottom of the Shipping and Billing address page as part of the checkout process.
unicharger7 also has delayed charging function and amperage override (only downwards, the automatically-set current is a hard upper limit) accessible by navigating the menu via the display screen.
