Description

Use this cable to connect your Type 2 vehicle to the tethered Type 1 plug found at all Type 1 charging stations.

Type 1 charging stations deliver maximum 32A single phase and this cable is configured to allow 32A power delivery.

Note: this cable is 1m in length – this is deliberately done so the connection to the tethered Type 1 plug sits on the ground. Shorter cables (or worse – the “barrel” adaptor) means the weight of the connection to the Type 1 plug hangs off the car’s charge port and this is something we think should be avoided. Using our cable, that weight now rests on the ground, and with the extra length you can position the cable just under the car, out of harm’s way and reducing any potential tripping hazard.
